Behind every rescue is a story- not just the stories of the animals that are being saved but the savers themselves. There is something that keeps these fiercely dedicated people going no matter the obstacles they face on a daily basis. Rescue The Rescue gives light to their story while meeting some of the incredible animals they save in the process.
We are hitting the road to share inspiring stories, celebrate volunteers, create community connection and curate life-changing experiences for rescues.
Rescue The Rescue is currently in development with Hollywood powerhouse production company Little Studio Films with Alexia Melocchi as Executive Producer and hosted by award-winning TV personality and global animal advocate Allyson Spellman.

Allyson Spellman

Allyson is an Award-Winning TV Personality known for her work as a National Broadcast TV Host,
Livestream Host, Influencer and Brand Ambassador. Known as a global animal advocate, Allyson is also
dedicated to using her platform for good as an animal welfare leader. Animals are the cause closest to
her heart and it shows through many efforts.​
Alexia Melocchi

Alexia, co-founder of Little Studio Films, is an accomplished P.G.A producer, known for a deep understanding of the international distribution, production and financing landscape in film and television. Her productions include Academy Award winners and box office blockbusters.

Emmy award winner, Mark has been working in film & television for 29 years with a prestigious portfolio of work on films including A Time to Kill, Ghosts of Mississippi, Oh, Brother, Where Art Thou?, The Chamber, The Client, Big Fish, and many more.
Pilot Episode
We filmed the first episode of Rescue The Rescue in the Tampa area to support Suncoast Animal League and highlight the story of Rick Chaboudy!
The show provided an incredible opportunity to give back to Chaboudy, a true hometown hero that has devoted his life to saving animals for over 40 years. Chaboudy is known worldwide for his devotion to saving animals and the numerous sacrifices he has personally made throughout the years to do so. He is a true "angel for animals" and we are thrilled to be able to recognize his life saving work and give back to help him continue it.
Since opening their doors in 2006, Suncoast Animal League has aided and adopted out over 30,000 cats and dogs and helped thousands more wildlife. They have stepped in to save countless animals left in horrid conditions due to hoarding, those left to die due to health issues and those animals who are victims of animal cruelty.
Their work is truly remarkable and no matter how bad the case, what time of night they are called or how hopeless a situation may be, Suncoast always steps up and saves lives on a daily basis.
